The AWS concept is based on a traditional shopping mall model combined with the latest online interactive shopping technology. It is a global shopping portal and facilitator of international direct trade. Our slogan 'To the world from the world' means that we enable consumer products and services in a specific country to reach global consumers in other countries.

It is becoming more of a challenge for a new independent online store to be successful as the Internet space is becoming very crowded and it is difficult to stand out above this crowd. As with bricks and mortar stores this problem can be over come by joining together with other stores (mall) and sharing the customers and other activities such as marketing. Certainly there are already plenty of shopping portals where you can load your products and pay a fee for clicks. We believe that this business model is flawed as it is heavily weighted in favour of the shopping portal. We believe that a business model that succeeds if you, as a licensee store, are successful is a better model and one that is more likely to sustain over the long term. Conducting international commerce has its challenges due to differences in cultures, languages and currencies. AWS has built a language center covering seven languages that provides support to licensees. These languages are English, German, French, Spanish, Japanese, Korean and Chinese. Through our international payment gateway (WebitPay) member stores can transact business in many different currencies.
